Boards and board members can be the dealmakers or dealbreakers when it comes to successful turnarounds, smooth management transitions or implementing innovative ideas.
Whether you serve on a public, private or non-profit board, there has never been a more important time to exhibit leadership in governance. The mission of NACD North Texas is to provide opportunities for intellectual discussions that build good corporate governance and exemplary leadership in boardrooms. Our program formats include monthly lunch meetings open to members, sponsors and guests and peer breakfasts open only to directors. We also have several sponsor lead peer programs that are by invitation only. These formats are designed not only to stimulate dialogue among directors but also to provide networking opportunities. Our sponsors provide assistance with programming and panelists to enhance the robustness of the discourse. Our chapter is one of 21 regional chapters of the NACD and our membership has been growing by more than approximately 8-10% per year. For almost 10 years, we have been actively serving our growing list of 500 members with high-quality, educational programs, events and networking opportunities.
