Tracey Doi serves as Chief Financial Officer and Group Vice President for Toyota Motor North America responsible for accounting, finance, corporate strategy and planning, and advanced technology research. Toyota (NYSE:TM) is committed to advancing sustainable, next-generation mobility through the Toyota and Lexus brands. Toyota Motor North America has created a tremendous value chain with 47,000 team members, 2.7 million vehicle sales and 2 million vehicles produced annually in 14 manufacturing plants.
Tracey is an executive member of the North American Management Committee that sets strategy, mid to long-term business plans, and drives opportunities to increase competitiveness. She serves on the Audit, Benefit, and Divisional Executive committees. Recently, Tracey transitioned Toyota’s accounting and finance operations from three locations to Toyota’s new state-of-the-art North American headquarters in Plano, Texas.
Tracey is an independent board director for City National Bank, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada. She chairs the Audit committee and is a member of the Risk committee. Previously Tracey served on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Economic Advisory Council.
Tracey is an active board member of the National Asian American Pacific Islander Chamber of Commerce, 2020 Women on Boards, and the Japanese American National Museum, and volunteers for the Orchid Giving Circle at the Texas Women’s Foundation. Tracey has been recognized three consecutive times by Automotive News as one of the Top 100 Women in the automotive industry.
Doi is an executive member of the Management, Audit, Risk and Benefit committees responsible for setting strategy, midterm business plans and guiding Toyota’s sustainable growth. She serves as an officer and director for several subsidiaries.
Doi joined Toyota in 2000 as vice president, corporate controller and was elevated to CFO in 2003, and later added responsibility for indirect procurement, real estate and administrative services. Doi earned her bachelor’s degree in business economics at UCLA and her CPA while in public accounting.
Doi serves on the board of directors and audit committee of City National Bank, the board of directors of the National Asian / Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce & Entrepreneurship, the U.S. – Japan Council and the Japanese American National Museum. Doi recently completed two terms on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Economic Advisory Council.
Doi has been recognized three times by Automotive News as one of its top 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry.
