Building the Visionary Board

2017 NACD Directorship 100 winner, Pattye Moore, currently serves on three public Boards: Chairing Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and a Member of ONEOK, Inc. and ONE Gas, Inc. and is a Member of one private company Board QuikTrip QT. She is also the former President of Sonic Corp. Pattye will share her experience as an author, executive, and director in the ever-changing world of board governance. As a marketing and public relations executive who has become a dynamic board leader, Ms. Moore will address private versus public boards, fast growth strategy development, and the experience of activist involvement, and her approach to creating a highly functioning team of diverse and accomplished leaders as board members. To achieve diversity of thought and find the needed skills, nominating committees must search new pools of candidates that may not have previous board experience or even attended a board meeting and support building their board skills.  Ms. Moore will also share her thoughts on innovation and disruption and the board’s role.
